BOSTON — As is sometimes the case with call-ups from the minor leagues, Brock Holt’s trip to the bigs was rushed. After a late arrival to the ballpark in Pawtucket, Holt found out at about 2 p.m. that he’d be headed up to Boston. Forced to fight through rush-hour traffic, Holt arrived at Fenway Park around 4:30 p.m. He didn’t take batting practice out on the field, but he was in uniform in plenty of time to start at third base and hit in the No. 9 spot in the Sox order. Holt finished the game with two hits, including a two-out RBI single that came in a 10-pitch battle with Orioles starter Chris Tillman.
